How to Use the GPA Calculator
Add Semesters

Customizable Grading Scale
Our calculator uses a standard 4.0 grading scale but also accommodates weighted grades to reflect the rigor of advanced courses:
- Standard Courses: Unweighted
- Honors Courses: Adds +0.5 to the grade point
- AP/IB/College Courses: Adds +1.0 to the grade point
Accurate GPA Computation
We calculate your GPA by summing the total quality points and dividing by the total credits:
Total Quality Points = Sum of (Adjusted Grade Point × Credits) for all courses
GPA = Total Quality Points ÷ Total Credits
This method ensures that both the grades you receive and the credit hours of each course are accurately reflected in your GPA.
